Conway Regional Celebrates $10 Million Capital Campaign
The Growing Together Campaign focused on providing innovative services, expanding access to health care, and recruiting new specialists to the community. The campaign fully funded the expansion of the clinical laboratory and the opening of a new behavioral health unit at Conway Regional Medical Center. It also supported Conway Regional’s Graduate Medical Education program and the completion of a new 24-bed intensive care unit, with the capacity to expand in the future.
CONWAY, ARK - (May 10, 2023)- The Conway Regional Health Foundation is celebrating the completion of its Growing Together Capital Campaign.
The campaign spanned three years and provided more than $10 million to support healthcare improvements at Conway Regional Health System.
“This campaign is a great example of the compelling nature of our story at Conway Regional,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. “It is gratifying to see how our community, our staff, physicians, and even those outside of Conway rally around that story of supporting local healthcare. In fact, thanks to the Sunderland and Mabee Foundations, we received two of the largest gifts in the history of the Foundation during the Growing Together Campaign.”
The campaign included almost $1 million in internal support raised by more than 1,000 employees and physician commitments.
The generosity of staff and physicians was particularly significant for Charlie Nabholz, Chairman Emeritus of Nabholz Construction, who co-chaired the Growing Together Campaign with Mike Stanton, MD.
“The campaign was very important. Conway Regional has provided health care to Nabholz Construction Company ever since it was founded,” said Nabholz. “The successful campaign demonstrated to our employees that Conway Regional would be able to continue to provide first-class health care.”
Stanton added, “The capital campaign has already had an effect with some of the things we have been able to do. It benefits the patients now, the staff and all the workers at Conway Regional, and future patients and the community at large.”
“This campaign elevated the Foundation to new levels of fundraising and has raised the bar for what we will do in the future,” said Maegan Dyson, Chief Development Officer for Conway Regional. “It calls us forward to new levels of service for our patients, our employees, and our community, and we look forward to the challenge.”
